While we love your little ones, our wedding experience is an adults-only celebration. We hope this getaway gives you a chance to relax, recharge, and fully enjoy the festivities. We understand this may require extra planning, and we truly appreciate you making the effort to celebrate with us.
Johannesburg: Expect mild, pleasant weather with average highs around 77°F (25°C) and lows around 56°F (13°C).
Cape Town: Typically warmer, with daytime highs around 81°F (27°C) and cooler evenings averaging 57°F (14°C). Light layers are your friend!

Yes, we’re committed to ensuring that all our guests have a delightful dining experience. We offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food options. Please indicate your dietary preferences in your RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re catered to accordingly.
While we’ll have a variety of dishes to accommodate different dietary needs, if you have specific requests or severe allergies, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
No vaccinations are required if you’re arriving from the U.S. However, if you’re traveling from Uganda or a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission, proof of yellow fever vaccination is required upon entry. Malaria prophylaxis is not necessary, as we won’t be visiting malaria-endemic areas in South Africa.
4–5 Formal Outfits – Include one white outfit suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings on the wedding day. (Note: Thin heels/stilettos are not recommended on the day of wedding.)

South African Rand (ZAR) is the local currency.

Meals: ~$20-45 USD per day, though ~$50-70 USD per day if you prefer luxury, fine dinning experiences.
Beer: Around ~$2.50–$3.
Overall, South Africa offers excellent value and is generally more affordable than North America or Western Europe.

Type M (most common, has 3 round pins in triangular pattern)

Tips and gratuities are typically discretionary and are between 10-12.5% minimum. These are often not included in most bills at bars/restaurants and must be calculated and added at the end.
