Thanks to everyone who’s already RSVP’d!
Once you arrive in South Africa, get ready for top-notch experiences—amazing service, fun adventures, beautiful stays, great food, and fantastic wine—all at a fraction of U.S. prices.
Step 1: Book your
International Flight:
Expect to pay $1,100–$1,400 round trip, depending on your U.S. departure city.
Buy a multicity ticket, not a round-trip ticket.
Your itinerary should look like this: [U.S.] → Johannesburg (JNB)
Cape Town (CPT) → [U.S.]
Depart the US on 3/16 or 3/17 to arrive in JNB on 3/17 or 3/18
Depart CPT on 3/29 for the US
Do NOT include the Johannesburg (JNB) to Cape Town (CPT) leg in your international ticket.
Example:
A sample itinerary from Boston (excluding the JNB → CPT segment) on United Airlines gives you a good idea of what to expect.
Final Thoughts:
March is peak travel season, and flight prices are highly dynamic.
If you find a multicity fare (U.S. → JNB | CPT → U.S.) for under $1,300, snag it immediately.
Book early—prices will only go up from here.
Step 2: Book your Domestic Flight
